Actor Ali Fazal rejected a broadway musical as he was busy with two other projects.

Actor Ali Fazal was recently approached to be part of a broadway musical, however the actor was forced to refuse as he was busy with other projects.

“Theatre remains my first love and I want to embrace each and every opportunity with open arms. However, my other commitments are keeping me occupied which is why I had to decline the Broadway offer given to me, says Ali, who is currently involved with his film Tadka and will start shooting for Fukrey 2 as well.

“It’s a very long commitment and currently I’m shooting till October. It wouldn’t have been fair to take something up which I couldn’t give my cent percent to,” he adds.

According to source close to the actor, Ali tried his best to manage his dates, but there was just no way out. “The makers wanted him to play the lead role in a broadway, which was inspired by a fictional story of a Mughal ruler. He loved the concept and tried to juggle his dates, but it just didn’t work out,” says a source.
