Looks like work is all that’s on Ayushmann Khurrana’s mind these days; so much so that he’s even dreaming about it now. He says he recently dreamt about shooting with late director Guru Dutt, and managed to upset him in that state of reverie.
The actor laughs as he recalls, "It was very bizarre. I was shooting with Guru Dutt saab, and the whole dream was in black and white. I don’t know what happened [because] he wanted me give one more take, and I said [to him], ‘Sir, I think it’s okay’. And he was actually upset with me."

But the actor regrets not being able to apologise to the thespian on waking up. “I woke up all of a sudden and thought, ‘What I have done? I couldn’t even apologise’,” he adds.
Ask him if is a fan of Guru Dutt, and he says, "Well, who isn’t? He is a legend. Every director wants to be like him. He has set a benchmark that we all can follow."
