Actor Sherlyn Chopra has a knack of creating controversies at the drop of a hat.
On Wednesday, she took to social media to heap abuses on the director of her forthcoming film, Kamasutra 3D. She claimed that she had quit the shoot of the film in five days flat!
However, reacting to Sherlyn's statements, director Rupesh Paul said that she was upset with her "badly made single".
Sherlyn Chopra, it seems, was upset with the changes in the screenplay.
She took to social media for some below the belt tweets.
She kept tweeting stuff like: "No Way! Na usko, naahi uske appa ko ;)“@shail_choudhary: kal yadi Rupesh tumse sorry kahe, tumhare pair pade toh tum usko dates dogi kya?"
Interestingly, Sherlyn missed the music launch of Kamasutra 3D. Clearing the air about why she was absent from the event, Sherlyn had said, "The makers had made drastic changes in the story & screenplay of the film which were not acceptable to me. I had made known to the makers that I could not proceed with the shooting of the film as my best interests were being violated by them."
In a statement issued by the director, Paul said, "Well it's actually news to me that Sherlyn has quit the movie. As a director, I have shot all the scenes with her for my movie except for few promotional ones. After being a part of us at Cannes, American Film Market, IFFI - Goa and more, even till December the last year, I fail to understand when did she quit?
Paul added, "I guess she is highly irritated with her badly made and poorly sung single - Bad Girl. I would be more than happy if she is getting some publicity for her single through this controversy."
An angry Paul wrote in his statement, "She (Sherlyn) should not forget that it is Rupesh Paul and Kamasutra 3D who has brought her to sensible cinema away from the stinking darkness of porn, presenting her to the world and to her 'fans' as an actress, not a stripper. But then, how can I change someone's 'DNA'?"
