Actor Irrfan Khan is back after his trip to Budapest, Hungary, where he went to prepare for his role in Hollywood venture, Inferno. He says that the week-long visit was productive, as he even met Hollywood actor Tom Hanks (inset), and is now looking forward to working with the team in the Ron Howard directorial.
“My trip to Budapest was very fruitful. I went there for a week. It was good to meet the entire cast of the film. Tom and I, along with the director and other cast members, did some script reading and I also got to almost finalise the look and feel of my character,” says the 48-year-old.
Meeting Tom Hanks was an experience in itself for Irrfan, who has earlier starred in international projects such as Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and The Amazing Spider-Man.
“I personally feel Tom is a wonderful actor and an amazing person. Even though I met him briefly, I look forward to working with him once the shooting starts in couple of weeks,” he adds.
