Bollywood actors are known to be conscious about their style. This is also why many of them have a say in the selection of their costumes and accessories for films. The latest instance is of Kareena Kapoor Khan street shopping in Amritsar, Punjab.
The actor, who is currently shooting there for Abhishek Chaubey's next directorial 'Udta Punjab', surveyed the streets of the city on March 15 to buy the right kind of accessories for her role. She thought she will be more comfortable sporting the ones chosen by her.
"Kareena was briefed about the scenes that were to be shot in the next two days, and she had to sport accessories in them. So, when the crew members were leaving to buy some from the local markets in Amritsar after the day's schedule got over, she also joined them," says a source close to the actor.
Apparently, the shopkeepers were taken aback to see Kareena visit their stores. "While she tried to hide her face with a scarf, a few owners recognised her. But before the news spread, the crew members, who accompanied her, handled the situation by asking them to not make a big deal. Meanwhile, Kareena selected the accessories she felt would suit her character," adds the source.
While Kareena could not be reached for a comment, her spokesperson confirmed the news.
