Even while Talaash is being promoted widely by the cast and crew, its plot and the climax remain a mystery.

On Tuesday, lead actor Aamir Khan went out of his way to safeguard film's suspense. The film's marketing team in UK had planned a screening for a few online contest winners. But when the Talaash team in India heard of this, especially Aamir, they requested the team to cancel it as the suspense would be revealed much before the film's release.

"Since it was almost four days before the release, Aamir knew the suspense would go viral. And since initially he wasn't kept in the loop, he was unaware of it," says an insider close to the team.

As a result, Aamir and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani made all the necessary calls and got the screening stalled.

"In fact, Talaash has had no preview screenings at all, which is an industry norm. Everyone will see the film only tonight at a cast and crew screening," adds the insider.

When contacted, a spokesperson for the film says, "Talaash is the most anticipated release of the year. We don't want the suspense to be revealed before the release."
