Last year, she made her much-talked-about film debut with the Canadian film, Dr Cabbie, a Salman Khan production. But ever since, actor Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabelle Kaif has not got any films. Buzz in the industry is that Isabelle wants to explore opportunities in Bollywood now.
Apparently, after the debacle of her international film, she is keen to try her luck in the Hindi film industry and she’s turned to Katrina for help. “She has already had a word with Katrina about it and Kat would be more than happy to help her little sister,” says a source.
But given the intense competition in Bollywood, Katrina has apparently asked her 29-year-old sister to prepare herself well for her new career before she takes the plunge. “Katrina wants her to be ready to take on the new challenge,” says an insider.
Around two-three years ago, talks were rife that Katrina would be turning producer to launch Isabelle in Bollywood, but that didn’t happen. Later came stories about how Kat has sought help from friends like Salman Khan and Karan Johar regarding the launch of her sister. However, nothing of that sort happened and Kat went on to deny it all. Interestingly, Isabelle took an acting course at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of New York, the same institute where Kat’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, trained too.
