Why Nawazuddin Siddiqui is so important for brands

Determined to get Nawazuddin Siddiqui to endorse their brand, representatives of a company have gone to Kashmir to woo him.

In the past few months, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has turned down many endorsement offers due to his busy shooting schedule. But one brand is so keen on signing the actor that its representatives have followed him all the way to Kashmir, where he is currently shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

“Representatives of a popular clothing brand are currently in Kashmir, convincing Nawaz to take up their endorsement offer,” says the source, adding, “They are willing to plan their entire set-up for the ad shoots in and around Kashmir, since he is busy working there.”

The Kabir Khan-directed film is in its final schedule, which will go on for another 45 days. Post this, Nawaz will resume work on a project that co-stars Shah Rukh Khan.

Meanwhile, the brand is putting a lot of effort into getting Nawaz on board. “They arefrequently meeting him, on the sets, as well as in his free time, and pitching several innovative ideas to him. If all goes well, he might take up the offer,” says the source.

While the actor remained unavailable for a comment, his spokesperson confirmed the news without divulging any details.
