MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has reached a new high after becoming the second highest grosser of 2016 with total business touching Rs 129.50 crores in India.

The Neeraj Pandey-directed film about India’s cricket captain has been performing steadily, even in its third week, after a stupendous run at the box office since its release.

The highest-grossing film of the year remains Salman Khan’s Sultan, with earnings exceeding Rs 500 crore worldwide.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who plays Dhoni in the film, is winning accolades for his depiction of the cricketing legend and this is one of the biggest reasons people are running to their nearest theatres to watch the movie.
