Though he made his Bollywood debut with a romantic film, Student Of The Year (2012), Sidharth Malhotra soon got into an intense zone, when he did films like Ek Villain (2014) and Brothers (2015).

Both the movies had several action sequences. Now, after working on a couple of dramatic films like Kapoor & Sons and director Nitya Mehra’s next, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Sidharth is set to get back to doing action.

“I am learning Krav Maga and judo for the film, because there will be a lot of scenes involving hand-to-hand combat,” says Sidharth Malhotra.

He will soon start working on film-makers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming movie, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez.

Sidharth is excited about learning different kinds of martial arts forms for the film. He says, “I am learning Krav Maga and judo for the film, because there will be a lot of scenes involving hand-to-hand combat. It’s a full-fledged action film,” says Sidharth, who will be shooting for the movie in Malaysia and Miami (USA), under the guidance of action directors from Paris (France) and Hollywood.

“It will be an exciting new zone for me. I have done action before, but not like this. I have also lost a lot of weight for the role. I am working on my agility and flexibility for the stunts,” says Sidharth. The film is likely to go on the floors soon. “Though it’s an action film, it’s laced with humour,” he says, adding that the film’s title is yet to be finalised.
