Every booklover knows that a bookshop is more than a means to an end. It’s an experience, and bookshops you frequent can tell as much about you as the books you buy.

For those of you who can spend hours on end browsing for that perfect book there’s a new destination in town, only this one is specifically for books on art and design. CMYK, a book-space launched by Roli Books, brings together books, space for cultural events, and movie screenings, music recitals, art exhibitions and a whole lot more — all under one roof. Apart from art and design, there’ll also be books on photography, performing arts, architecture, erotica, fashion, travel and yes, fiction.

An interesting feature is the ‘author of the month’ (it’s not endless literature on one lucky person) section, that will have 20 books recommended by one author. Here, you can buy the favourite books of MJ Akbar, Manju Kapur, Patrick French and others in the coming months. Founder Priya Kapoor explains, “This will also be a space for events, movie screenings and book related events. The terrace area will be used for activities. There’s garden furniture and lots of place for people to sit around and relax.” The best part — they serve you coffee on the house! At 15-16 Mehar Chand Market, Lodhi Road
