Crime novelist Roger  Ellory has been caught red-handed giving his own books positive reviews on Amazon. The author was exposed by a fellow author who noticed that one post was mistakenly signed Roger Roger Ellory, who writes as RJ Ellory, not only praised his novel A Quiet Belief
In Angels as a 'modern masterpiece' but also panned his rivals' books.

After the embarrassing expose, the author confessed and apologized for this 'lack of judgment'.

"The recent reviews - both positive and negative - that have been posted on my amazon accounts are my responsibility and my responsibility alone," he said in a statement.

He added, "I wholeheartedly regret the lapse of judgment that allowed personal opinions to be disseminated in this way and I would like to apologize to my readers and the writing community."
