As the third edition of the Mumbai Film and Comic Convention returns to the city, comic enthusiasts are set to bring out their capes, masks and light sabers. The Comic Con holds a reputation of expanding every year, in terms of space and variety.
Since last year, they have shifted their venue to the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon to accommodate the growing number of attendees. This year, they have roped in popular TV series Sherlock's co-creator, Mark Gatiss for three sessions, among several other highlights.
"Besides 150 exhibitors showcasing all sorts of action figures, T-shirts and quirky stuff, this year, we have a special Pop Culture Village with exclusive merchandise. That's certainly worth spending time at. Also, gamers will get a dedicated area for live gaming across platforms," says Jatin Varma, founder, Comic Con India.
