Delhi Comic Con: Conned by the no show?

Even as other cities enjoy the Comic Con, its Delhi chapter has been pushed to December and fans are not amused.

Comic fans all over Delhi had waited an entire year for this - they had their superhero capes ready for the cosplay, and some had even convinced Wonder Woman to be their partner.

And then came the heartbreaker announcement that sent social media in a tizzy - the Delhi chapter of the event has been rescheduled to December from February, which is the norm.

Fans are enraged that other cities do not have to suffer the same fate as Delhi, even as the organisers insist that the delayed event will be bigger and better.

"We share the disappointment that thousands of fans have felt due to the shift in the dates of our Delhi show. However, we wouldn't have been able to execute the event in the best possible manner at the previous venue due to the growing numbers. So, in order to give them a truly awesome experience, we decided to delay the show," explained founder Jatin Varma.
