Celebrated comic book creator Alan Moore will be writing no more. The author of V for Vendetta has confirmed that he is retiring from writing comic books, The Guardian reported.
Moore is also known for writing Watchmen, From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He made the announcement during a London press conference for his latest work, Jerusalem.
Before he steps away from the comic book world, he vowed to finish already slated projects, such as his work on a few issues of an Avatar Press book, part of an HP Lovecraft project, Cinema Purgatorio, and a final League of Extraordinary Gentlemen book.
