Highlight Story

From playing Kareena in the TV show Kareena Kareena to playing Sahiba in Yamla Pagla Deewana, actor Kulraj Randhawa has come a long way.

The actor, whose film Chaar Din Ki Chandni opposite actor Tusshar Kapoor released yesterday, is looking forward to a long innings in Bollywood. The actor, who plays the role of a dabangg and fun-loving girl in the film, feels that Salman Khan is the real Dabangg of the industry.

Talking about an item numbers, Kulraj says, “I don’t mind doing an item number in a film.” Randhawa, who has done Punjabi films including Tera Mera Ki Rishta, says she is picky about her roles in Bollywood as she wants to do roles that are worthwhile. Read on as the 28-year-old opens up about her relationship status, Delhi memories, her passion for writing and more.

On working with Tusshar

He is a great guy and it was sheer fun to work with him. The best part about Tusshar is that he doesn’t have those starry tantrums at all. He is very co-operative and I utterly enjoyed working with him

On writing a book

I have a passion for writing. In fact I’m in the process of writing a fiction. I am penning it amid my film assignments so it’ll take some time, but god willing, it will surely happen.

On doing a Telugu film

It all started as Chinese whispers. I haven’t yet signed anything but yes, talks are on with few producers. If the project is good, I don’t have a problem working down South

On relationship status

I am single at the moment. I am not seeing anyone. The fact is that I am very focussed on my career at the moment and I do not want anything to distract me

On Delhi memories

I enjoy visiting Delhi. The weather here, especially the winters, is just fabulous! Moreover, the food here is great. I have lots of friends here so I love coming to the Capital
