Actor Anil Kapoor will share details of his life in a soon-to-be penned book.

The actor says that the book will chronicle his professional journey and matters close to his heart.

“Film critic Khalid Mohamed will write the book. We have already had sessions discussing the content of the book. It will talk about my journey from Bollywood to Hollywood. It will also give an insight into the heart and mind of an actor,” he says, adding, “We want to be spontaneous about it and let the book take its own character. I believe that you can’t take life too seriously.”

The actor who attended the BAFTA Awards in London last month, describes it as “simply superb”. “It was a great journey. It is great to see how awareness about the Indian film industry is increasing at such international events. I met many celebrities including Oscar-winning producer Harvey Weinstein,” he says.

Kapoor, who is currently working on Priyadarshan’s Tezz, Abbas-Mustan’s Race 2 and Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala, apart from his international film, Cities, and debut TV production, the Indian adaptation of 24, says that he is miffed with recent reports of a tiff with Priyadarshan.

“There is absolutely no tiff between the two of us. I adore him and love working with him,” says Kapoor.
