Rochie Rana, 28, a Delhi-based radio host, is launching her second book Colour Therapy for Love & Romance this Valentine’s Day. Mayank Austen Soofi catches up with her.

What’s the difference between love and romance?
Basically the deal is that, love is for mom, brother and dad etc while romance is an emotion you express only for your partner. Although at certain points both love and romance become inseparable.

Who’ll be your Valentine on 14th? What colours will you be wearing that day and why?
Oh, unfortunately I don’t have any Valentine. But I wish I had a Johnny Depp or a Arjun Rampal. And yes, I can’t forget John. I think John Abraham is just too hot! In case if I have any one of them with me on the V-Day, I’ll wear something red because that’s the colour of love. I’ll also put on something purple coz it stands for passion. You see I will want my date to be scorching hot!

What colour will you suggest to someone who will go lover-less?
Umm, those folks definitely need to wear orange. It’s the color of friendship. After all, such a person needs to attract lots of friends. And yes, he or she also needs to flaunt a little bit of red to translate that friendship into romance. So I’ll say dress up in an orange shirt and carry a red rumaal in the pocket.

What if Valentine’s Day, the festival of love, and Holi, the festival of colors, fall on a single day?
Wow, that would be perfect. It would be just great. The day would be a mix of love and colours. It would have purple for passion, green for balance, red for hot-core love, and orange for buddyship. Just in case the person is not garam enough, we would have yellow for sunshine and warmth.

Book launch Oxford Bookstore, February 14, 4.30 - 5.30pm.
