British bookseller Waterstone has apologized for suggesting that Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’ would be a fitting stocking stuffer for Christmas.

The Jewish Chronicle reported Waterstone Booksellers had several branches prominently displaying the book, and one using a sticker urging its purchase as a potential stocking stuffer.

The New York Post and the Daily Mail said the company issued its mea culpa after a Jewish businessman complained about spotting “Mein Kampf” promotions in four different Waterstone stores, the Chronicle reported.
