The book is an anthology of Urdu couplets written by Khalish Dehlavi. Dehlavi won the National award for Urdu poetry in 1984. The major theme of the book is integration and the poet wishes to convey a message of love and truth for all humanity. Khalish means an arrow stuck in the heart that causes deep agony.
