All that glitters…

In our own Punjabi version of a starry awards’ evening, the red-carpet arrivals made quite a sight. At the 3rd PTC Awards event held at Sports Complex in SAS Nagar on Friday, there was a generous dose of both Pollywood and Bollywood celebs. If turbaned Sunny Deol made a statement with his scarf and turban, Raveena Tandon looked pretty in her ankle-grazing anarkali suit.

Other A-listers from Bollywood included actors Divya Dutta, Mahie Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill and producer Rahul Mittra. From the Punjabi industry, Gurdas Maan, Preeti Sapru, Neeru Bajwa, Upasna Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Satinder Satti, Miss Pooja and Satinder Sartaj, among others, bestowed the event with their presence.

As the night progressed, artistes such as Himesh Reshammiya left the audience spellbound with his 20-minute-long performance that included 20 of his most popular songs. Roshan Prince, Monica Bedi and Geeta Zaildar too were seen performing on Punjabi melodies.

Tinsel Town ladies Claudia Ciesla and Minissha Lamba also set the stage ablaze. And of course, fresh out of controversy was Yo Yo Honey Singh, who performed with Alfaaz and Money Aujla. Playing
perfect hosts to the occasion were singer-cum-actor Diljit Dosanjh and comedian Kapil Sharma.
