They have taken the name of their restaurant rather seriously — from the fragrance of lemongrass wafting through the air when you enter its premises to the lemon green interiors and lemon-coloured lights, Lemongrass truly lives up to its name.
The restro-lounge that was officially launched in Sector 26, Chandigarh, on Wednesday serves Asian cuisines including Thai, Korean, Chinese, Malaysian and Japanese.
Chef Laxman Negi, who claims to specialise in Chinese cuisine, recommends Chilly Chicken amongst the restaurant’s many specialties.
The ambience of Lemongrass is contemporary with seating area near the entry being spacious, though the space next to the kitchen is rather noisy and can be avoided.
There is also live music playing on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by local bands such as Shek n Rince.
