Tabassum hosted Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan (1972 to 1993), a popular Indian television talk show on Doordarshan where she chatted with Indian celebrities in a unique, filmy way.
2. Simi Garewal
Simi Garewal was known for her polished mannerism and a lilting voice when she spoke to some big personalities from Shah Rukh Khan to the late Jayalalithaa on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal.
3. Farooq Sheikh
With his smart sense of humour and a personal touch, late Farooq Sheikh made everyone feel at home when he hosted Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. He gave the audience a positive peek into the lives and careers of celebrities as well as their equations with the people in their lives.
4. Tim Sebastian
Tim Sebastian was the first presenter of BBC-broadcasted show HARDtalk and is known for his style of tough questioning. He has interviewed world leaders like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter and has been instrumental in bringing a large audience to the show.
5. Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey is a household name for a lot of reasons, but her show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, is still talked about and her personal style of conducting intimate discussions is lauded all over the world.
