The scorching sun and dusty winds do not seem to deter them. Shooting a typical college scene at the canteen of GGDSD College, Sector 32, HT City on Friday spotted the cast and crew of Punjabi film Love You Sohniye, which is set for a May 23 release.

In the hustle bustle, the prominent faces we came across were those of TV and film actor Karanvir Bohra, his wife and actor Teejay Sidhu, one-movie-old Tanya Abrol and Chandigarh boy Suyyash Rai, an alumnus of GGDSD College himself.

As we take in the sight, Teejay Sidhu humbly walks up to talk about the film and says, “I and Karanvir are producing our maiden Punjabi film, Love You Sohniye, the budget of which is about Rs 2 crore. As producers, we have faith in all our 12 Punjabi debut actors, including Raghu Ram and Harry Anand.”

Love You Sohniye has been written by Sahil and Karanvir Bohra and is a romantic comedy, albeit without comedians, informs she.
