Describe your current state of mind in three words.

Calm, easy and grateful.

A song that’s currently stuck in your head...

Strangers in the Night by Frank Sinatra.

The best and worst part about being an ‘Indie’ actor...

The best is the credibility that comes with it and the worst is that you get labelled.

Given a choice, which iconic character would you want to recreate?

Kamal Haasan sir’s role in Sadma (1983).

Which is your favourite Anurag Kashyap movie?

Black Friday (2007), as it is the most honest and unbiased depiction of a real-life event.

Other than Sanjay Dutt, who from the film industry deserves a biopic?

Guru Dutt. He was a man much ahead of his time and it’ll be exciting to know his life story.

What will your Tinder bio say?

Signing out now.

Who was the first person to call you after you landed a role inMasaan?

Anurag Kashyap. It wasn’t a congratulatory call, but more like a pep talk filled with all kinds of advice.

A genre of films that you really want to work with?

I want to be a part of a sports drama.

A genre of films that you don’t want to work with?

Sex comedies is something I won’t do.

One thing that you had to change about yourself after becoming an actor?

I’m very punctual now. I hate to admit this but I was a bit sloppy on that front earlier.

One thing that you’ll never change about yourself...

Focusing on the now. I’m a live-in-the moment kind of person and want to stay that way always.

What is the best thing about being a ’90s kid?

Growing up without gadgets and apps!

Who is your all-time favourite celebrity crush?

Jennifer Aniston.

When not acting, we’ll find you...

Binge watching movies and TV shows on Netflix. Perfect stress buster.
