Traditionally, Delhi has always favoured tea over coffee but aggressive marketing in the last few years saw more of coffee places opening up. However, tea companies and tea lovers have have struck back - offering a range of teas never heard of before. Here's where you should head if you need a tea fix.

Chaayos:This chai café chain offers as many as 25 varieties of fresh, gourmet, customised chais in a relaxed ambience, including Indian specialty teas like pahadi qahwa, irani chai and aam papad chai, and exotic teas like Moroccan mint and chamomile tea. Some of the interesting ones include hari mirch chai, aam papad chai and gods chai.

T'Pot Café:Whether you want your regular khullad masala tea (which is a steal at Rs 36) or the gourmet hibiscus or white tea - you will find it here. They offer 30 different kinds of teas, tea-based ice drinks and some cool snacks to go with them.

In this tea, each leaf and bud is plucked during a certain time of the month, at a particular time of the day and from certain number of bushes, which are then hand-rolled. About 18 kg of this tea is sold to the oldest tea house in the world -- Mariage Freres in Paris.
