Laugh out loud with The Brunch Book Challenge

This week, writer Rupa Gulab gives us her top 10 funny reads. What better way to get ahead on the challenge than to do so by laughing out loud?

Welcome to the Brunch Book Challenge

The #BrunchBookChallenge is a Hindustan Times Brunch initiative to promote reading. The idea is to read at least 24 books in 2014. But you must tweet about your progress (tagging @HTBrunch using the hashtag #BrunchBookChallenge).

The Brunch book challenge: read 24 books in 2014

The idea is to read 24 books in 2014 – that’s two books a month, easily achievable if you read for about 15 minutes every day or a few hours every weekend.

So many books, so little time...

Are you reading as much as you’d like? Even if you read for 15 minutes before bedtime, or a couple of hours every weekend, or every time you’re in the metro or local, you can easily read two books a month. So how about aiming for 24 books this year?

If you started when we did, you should have finished reading your first book of the year. Most people are already on their second and third (many are on fourths and fifths, some on sevenths and eighths...)
