Jubilant Foodworks Q3 net up 28%

Food services company Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), which operates Domino's Pizza and Dunkin' Donuts brands, on Monday posted a 28% year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs. 37.7 crore for the quarter ended December. Total income rose by 39% to Rs. 385 crore.
"This quarter represents a
step forward towards enhancing our foothold in the dynamic food service industry in India. We believe our emotional connection with our consumers and JFL's continuous innovation and new product offerings has shaped industry trends and grow our business sustainably," Shyam S Bhartia, chairman and Hari S Bhartia, co-chairman of JFL said in a statement.

During the quarter, the food giant opened 37 stores of Domino's Pizza, taking total outlets to 552. It has also launched 8 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in India.

"We witnessed healthy traction on network increase along with some unique product innovations," said Ajay Kaul, CEO, JFL. "We have a strongly differentiated offering at Dunkin' Donuts."
