Infamous was a game that offered a better superhero experience even though its protagonist was no Superman or Batman. Infamous 2 expands on the first game with a new setting and better powers.

Core gameplay hasn't changed much, but that still does not stop this game from being one of the most entertaining games we've played in recent times.

As you load Infamous 2 for the first time, your actions from the previous game — good or evil — get transferred to the new game. You can even start from scratch. Players once again step into the boots of lead protagonist Cole McGrath who's now on his way to New Marais to amplify his powers.

His best friend and a cast of other characters join him. The game does a fine job of recapping events from the first game, so even newcomers know the story.

New Marais is loosely based on New Orleans and developer Sucker Punch has done a great job capturing the city's vibe. The entire city is your playground, but initially you'll be confined to just one part of it. Later, you'll be required to help out the flooded parts of the city, and since Cole is bursting with electricity, he must avoid water — making navigation tricky.http://www.hindustantimes.com/images/HTPopups/110611/11_06_11-metro-17c.jpg

Thankfully, Cole is well-versed in parkour (free running) and is more than capable of climbing any structure around. Unfortunately, his climbing animation lacks the fluidity seen in the Assassin's Creed series.

High-voltage powers
Your powers are variants of real-world weaponry, so you'll be able to fire electric bolts, launch electric rockets, blow enemies sky high with electric grenades and lots more. The game has a huge selection of powers depending on your 'karmic' choices. Nice guys inherit powers without any collateral damage. Evil players receive volatile powers that kill as many civilians as the bad guys. Your moral choices also affect the game's side-quests.

Infamous 2 will give those in God of War III a run for their money.
