Quest Global has launched the first aerospace special economic zone in the country that houses an engineering facility, a precision machining facility and a sheet metal facility.
Quest Global has made an initial investment of
Rs. 150 crore for the Belgaum SEZ. “We look
forward to creating more than 7,000 jobs locally and infusing $ 500 million in the economy in the next 10 years,” Arvind Melligeri, co-founder and chairman of the SEZ, said.
“We are a $ 100-million company and are looking at 5-foldgrowth in the next five years,” Melligeri said.
Quest Global provides design-to-build solutions and manufactures landing gear for Airbus A380, airframe components, wing components, tyre assembly and components for different commercial airplanes
The company has a staff of 1,800, 500 of them in its facilities abroad. The company has six delivery centres the world-over, including the United States, Italy, Japan, Germany and France, and has footprints in UK, Spain and China.
