After Big Bazaar, multiplex chain INOX Leisure, along with the State bank of India, has launched a new initiative to ease the process of cash withdrawal for the people.

The company has partnered with the SBI to facilitate this transaction at INOX multiplexes using debit cards.

Citizens can simply swipe their cards, enter their PIN numbers and get up to Rs 2,000 in cash per card per day, INOX said in a statement.

Starting 24th November (Thursday), all Big Bazaar stores, along with all fbb stores, are allowing customers to withdraw up to Rs 2000 using their debit/ATM cards. This facility is now available at 258 Big Bazaar and fbb stores in over 115 cities and towns across the country.

Siddharth Jain, director of INOX Leisure Ltd, said: “We, at INOX Leisure, believe that the current demonetisation will have a positive impact on the Indian economy. Through this effort, we are attempting to ease any difficulties that are currently being faced by people due to demonetisation.”

The SBI said, “We are glad to partner with INOX Leisure for the initiative that they have undertaken during this phase. At SBI, we provide support to customers and this association with INOX coincides with our offering.”
