Is Infosys back on track?

Infosys, under Narayana Murthy, is being conservative with its guidance. Besides, not too long ago, the company had faced embarrassment by missing its own guidance targets—causing it to even discontinue its practice of giving a quarterly guidance.

While this is true to some extent, it’s also true that Infosys continues to face its own internal challenges, including the recent exit of some senior executives. Besides, the company’s revenue mix and focus has been on areas which have lagged in terms of growth; although this is now being corrected by an increased focus on traditional bread-and-butter services.
