Mammen Mathew is Manorama Chief Editor

Mammen Mathew on Wednesday assumed charge as Chief Editor and Managing Editor of Malayala Manorama.

Mammen who has 44 years of experience in publication is the eldest son of late K M Mathew who was chief editor of Malayala Manorama.

After completing his postgraduation from St.Stephen's college, New delhi, Mammen underwent training in Times of India, and Joined Malayala Manorama as its Delhi correspondent, a release said.

In 1968 he became a reporter for the Western Mail in Cardiff in United Kingdom.  He also worked in the Sunday Times under Sir Harold Evans, who was its editor.

Later, Mammen worked as a reporter for the Oklahoma City Times and the Daily Oklahoma. In 1970 he became the resident editor of Manorama Kozhikode Unit.
