Tata Teleservices (TTSL) has reacted to the Reliance Communication’s (RCOM) statement that RCOM was at the same platform as other three operators for award of licences for GSM services to CDMA operators.

The company said it was unfair and incorrect to compare it with dual technology operators such as RCOM and others as they had applied and got the approval even before the policy came into effect.

RCOM had said on Sunday that its application was “on identical terms and payment of identical fees as the three other companies — Tata Teleservices, Himachal Futuristic Communications and Shyam Telecom and there is nothing special or untoward in the same.”
