Why do schools turn to companies for services?

Schools have outsourced services for years. Schools have often hired drama coaches or English diction specialists. But education services have coalesced into an organised sector with hundreds of companies. Many schools do not have enough good teachers because they are paid poorly. Sometimes, the school does not have anyone who is comfortable teaching specialised subjects, such as robotics or genetics.

Very few schools have trained physical education teachers and coaches. Many teachers also need training to keep up with technological changes.

How is this different from the situation abroad?

Schools here have neglected teacher training and development for years. Teachers in private schools abroad go through a rigorous training process regularly. Over the past two decades a huge gap has developed between how we teach our students and how the world looks at education.
