Leading telecom services provider, Bharti Airtel on Sunday launched a new add on feature - Special 5 for its customers pan-India.

The service enables the clients to select a circle of five Airtel mobile numbers, within which call rates will be as low as 20 paise per minute on local calls and 50 paise per minute on STD calls, a press release issued here said.

"It helps leverage our large customer-base across the country and thus gives the edge to our customers," Bharti Airtel's CEO, Mobility, Manu Talwar said.

In the prepaid plan, customers can register the five numbers and enjoy the benefits over and above the current tariff benefits.

For post-paid customers, the scheme will be available as an exclusive special 5 plan, the release said.

The scheme is expected to benefit around 10 crore Airtel customers across the country, it said.
