Infrastructure firm Gayatri Projects on Thursday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 2,131.62 crore from the Andhra Pradesh Government for construction-related works.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that it along with Ratna Infrastructure Projects under joint venture company ‘Gayatri-Ratna Joint Venture´ bagged orders worth Rs 2,131.62 crore from Andhra Pradesh.
The first order from superintending engineer, Dummugudem Project Circle, is worth Rs 1,360.26 crore for constructing 182 km-206 km Dummugudem-Nagarjuna Sagar Project Tail pond link canal and the second order valued at Rs 771.36 crore for for Dummugudem-Nagarjuna Sagar Project Tail pond link canal from 206 km to 244 km, the filing added.
Gayatri Projects holds is 80 per cent in the JV, while Ratna Infrastructure Projects’s share is 20 per cent. The entire work has to be executed within a period of 54 months, it added.
Shares of Gayatri Projects were trading at Rs 73.30, up 8.51 per cent on the BSE.
