Goodyear India on Monday said its net profit rose by 2.35% to Rs 74.81 crore for the year ended December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 73.09 crore in the previous fiscal, Goodyear India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income of the company rose to Rs 1,301.29 crore for the year ended December 31, 2010, compared to Rs 1,016.75 crore in the last fiscal.
The company's board has recommended a dividend of Rs 7 per share of a face value of Rs 10 each for the year ended December 31, 2010.
The board also approved the sale of a piece of land located in Ballabgarh, subject to obtaining of necessary approvals for such sale.
Shares of Goodyear India today closed at Rs 217.50 on BSE, up 3.01% from its previous close.
