Touring across the globe to understand the changing business dynamics, Nitin Nohria, the recently appointed India-born Harvard dean is a man with a mission as he plans to bring changes at Harvard Business School in line with shifting global trends. With the mantra ‘local is global’, Nohria aims to turn the Harvard Business School into a truly global business school, going beyond its American moorings.

Citing examples like the Tata Nano, Nohria, who has penned 12 books, says the Indian example of innovation andre-engineering by business models in a radically imaginative way is an inspiration for the world. He also advocates "distributive leadership" in firms.
