HCL Tech in mega deal with Purdue

HCL Technologies on Tuesday announced an IT service outsourcing deal with US-based pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma.
HCL Technologies on Tuesday announced an IT service outsourcing deal with US-based pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma. The multi-million dollar deal will allow HCL Technologies to manage Purdue Pharma's data centres and other facilities located in the US.
In May, this year, HCL Tech had announced a $500 million (Rs 2,200 crore) deal with pharmaceutical major Merck. The company, however, refused to divulge the deal size with Purdue Pharma.
