Previously, publisher members had the choice of selecting any audit firm from amongst the empanelled auditors.

ABC is a tripartite organisation, which since 1948 certifies circulation figures twice a year for the benefit of print media industry, advertising agencies, advertisers and government agencies.

A not-for-profit organisation, it has been regularly publishing audited circulation figures for the last 65 years every six months providing an insight into the circulation number of the print media industry.
