The country’s largest multinational food service brand Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd on Friday reported a 346 per cent jump in net profit for the April-June quarter at Rs 15 crore.

The company’s income grew 59.5 per cent during the quarter to Rs 136 crore. The growth in income was largely due to the opening of new stores during the quarter. The company opened 14 new stores during the quarter, taking the total number of stores in the country to 320. The company plans to add around 70 new stores in India during the current fiscal year.

Jubilant operates the Domino’s Pizza India stores and is the master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza International.

“The first quarter continues to be exciting for JFL as we progress towards our goal of gaining marketshare with our robust performance,” said Shyam S. Bhartia, chairman and Hari S. Bhartia, co-chairman, JFL.
