Engineering and construction major, Larsen & Toubro has bagged Rs 200 crore order from UAE-based Nakheel, to build a residential project in Dubai.
The entire construction of the project is scheduled to be completed in 548 days from the date of commencement and involves the construction of 31 luxury villas, Larsen & Toubro informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The project would be executed by L&T's Construction Division, ECC.
The project involves construction of luxury villas and associated infrastructure facilities, including a club house and children's play area at Jumeirah islands.
The scope of the project also includes building the associated infrastructure facilities consisting of roads and services, a pedestrian overpass, club house with recreational facilities, children's play area and complete landscaping.
Nakheel, is a leading project developer in UAE and is involved in several major property development projects with investments to the tune of $12 billion in Dubai.
This is the third project from Nakheel being awarded to Larsen & Toubro. The previous projects were the Middle bridges on the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah Island Development, which has already been executed, and the Mogul Gardens.
