Micro Inks Q1 net up three-fold at Rs 15 cr

Micro Inks posted three fold increase in net profit at Rs 14.88 cr for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 5.92 cr last year.

Micro Inks on Saturday posted three fold increase in net profit at Rs 14.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 5.92 crore for the same quarter last year.

The total income (net of excise) grew 18.71 per cent to Rs 282.34 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, from Rs 237.83 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

There has been changes in the directorate of the company as Shivram Angne, the whole-time director of Micro Inks has resigned effective from April 28, and would continue to be a non-executive director on the board of directors.

For the quarter ended March 31, the group posted a net profit of Rs 12.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 3.19 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.

The total income (net of excise) of the group increased to Rs 352.19 crore for the March quarter of this fiscal from Rs 275.24 crore for the year-ago period.
