The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has announced the formation of the Product Business Guidance Panel, comprising of a core group of industry representatives. The panel will guide entrepreneurs and organisations on various aspects of setting up and running a software product company.

The advisory panel, which follows a similar one in the Silicon Valley, includes heads of Indian firms and their overseas counterparts like Subex Azure and Accenture. “Currently, there is no ecosystem in place for identifying the next big product company,” Subhash Menon, chairman, Nasscom product forum and CEO of Bangalore-based infotech product company Subex Azure told Hindustan Times.
