Oberoi Realty made a good start on the Dalal Street on Wednesday, opening over seven per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange against its issue price of Rs 260.
Its share price rose by 7.69 per cent to Rs 280 on the BSE.
The realty player witnessed an upsurge on the National Stock Exchange as well where it jumped by 4.26 per cent to Rs Rs 271.10. On the volume front, over 1.45 crore shares of the company were traded during the early morning session.
The Mumbai-based company, which has raised Rs 185.15 crore through its initial public offer (IPO), had entered the capital market with a price band of Rs 253-Rs 260 per share.
Meanwhile, the broader gauge Sensex was trading at 20,016.79, up by 33.66 points from the previous close.
