Immediately after settling his dispute with younger brother Shishir, Bajaj family patriarch Rahul Bajaj on Friday asked the fighting Ambani brothers to learn from his experience and end animosity.
"I have said it openly to both of them to please settle (differences) that are the best way for both of you. You are rich and outstanding entrepreneurs, outstanding industrialists," Rahul Bajaj told private news channel NDTV.
He said the two Ambani brothers, Mukesh and Anil, could do much better than what they have achieved individually so far and they should not necessarily be bothered by the recent reports of being the biggest loser in the world in terms of market capitalisation, as per a Forbes magazine report.
Bajaj, however, said he himself took time to settle differences with younger brother Shishir and the Ambani brothers could only learn from his experience.
"You can still do better, but whom am I to say that. Six year I couldn't settle. This is the hope," he said.
Bajaj had signed a family settlement with Shishir on December 21, following which petition filed at the CLB by the younger brother was withdrawn on December 31 leading to an amicable division of the family business.
The Ambani brothers, on the other hand, have not been seeing eye-to-eye ever since their separation in 2005 although the flagship Reliance group has been divided into two entities, headed separately by Mukesh (RIL Group) and Anil (ADA Group).
