A good news for modern nomads. The historical Ramgarh lodge in Jaipur which was operated by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has come back with a new avatar with group's new brand - The Gateway Hotel.
The resort on the outskirts of the town, is all set to run with new rooms and suites with seamless blend of history and contemporary style. Hunting trophies, old-world artifacts and sweeping views of the landscape recreate the ambience of an early 20th century. International guests including Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Jacqueline Kennedy had been guest to this European style lodge, surrounded by 8,000 acres of land.

Carefully selected and restored original artworks, Grand furniture with period details tastefully combined with luxurious fabrics and finishes, creates a regal ambience in each and every guestroom.
"Keeping in line with the Gateway brand philosophy, we have given the hotel a contemporary look at the same time maintaining its heritage," said Jyoti Narang, Chief Operating Officer, Gateway Hotels.
The new areas and interiors have been designed by Amit Gehlot and Shalini Gehlot of ASA Design.
The cuisine is ready to serve all the taste buds whether Indian or continental giving delightful gastronomic experience incorporating fresh local produce, natural ingredients and extensive regional cooking styles.
The Banquet Hall is expected to open early next year.
