Adorned with the tagline "It doesn’t take a genius", Samsung has revealed an advertisement comparing Apple’s flagship iPhone 5 to its own Galaxy S III. The ad is scheduled to go to press on Sunday.
Samsung's new print ad listed the two handsets' features side-by-side as it attempts to lure Apple customers. The ad copy says, "It doesn't take a genius," and follows that with, "The next big thing is already here, Galaxy S III."
The advertisement has featured the Galaxy S III's long list of trademarked smartphone functions doubling those found on iPhone 5. Besides, Apple's new lightning connector is mentioned in a negative light. Samsung described it as "a totally different plug" versus the Galaxy S III's "standard micro USB plug".
The ad didn't mention the numerous enhancements coming with Apple's mobile operating system (iOS 6). Some well-known features of the iPhone 5 like FaceTime, iTunes integration and iCloud were also not mentioned in the ad. Moreover, it also omit the fact that Samsung's handset uses old version of Android.
