Tata Motors on Saturday launched Sumo Grande, which it announced at the Delhi Auto Expo in January. Sumo Grande combines the looks of an SUV with the comforts of a family car, Tata Motors said.
"It has been specifically designed to satisfy the needs of city customers in the areas of driveability, manueverability and fuel efficiency," Tata Motors said in a statement.
Sumo Grande is priced at Rs 6.70 lakh to Rs 7.68 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai. Sumo Grande comes in three variants -- Lx, Ex and Gx -- with a seating configuration of 6+1 and 7+1. It will be availabe in seven colours. Tata Motors announced the price cut for Indica and Indigo Compact Sedan range.
It has cut Rs 8,500 to Rs 14,600 for Indica range and Rs 12,700 and Rs 15,300 for Indigo Compact Sedans. For commercial vehicles, it has cut prices by two per cent.
